Vision

Our vision for Oasis Cardiff is that it becomes known as a safe place for all to come to, especially to learn about living in a new community. We strive to involve asylum seekers, refugees and British nationals in engaging with one another to bridge the cultural divide and reduce misunderstandings. We strive to engage and meet with people of different backgrounds, especially asylum seekers and refugees, in a multicultural Cardiff, to help them integrate and feel part of their new community.

Testimonial

When I first heard about Oasis (4 months ago), it was regarding the Vouchers Exchange Scheme; I went there and I exchanged my vouchers for cash. But for some reason, I kept going there not for the vouchers only but for the reception (those who give their valuable time to run the place), the friendly environment, the opening times which are suitable for lots of people and the different activities going on there. With the ambitions and plans they have, I am sure and confident that THE BEST IS YET TO COME. I even asked myself: why when I first arrived in Cardiff (2005), there was nothing like Oasis? THANKS to those who run it. Well done!
