Our centre would not function without our volunteers and we are extremely grateful to have so many people of all ages and backgrounds wanting to help out with what we aim to do. Each volunteer brings their own unique skill and passion to the centre which we aim encourage and nurture.

Volunteering with us can be challenging but it can also be rewarding, fun, therapeutic and sometimes even life changing which comes hand in hand with the variety of amazing people our staff and volunteers meet daily.

We have plenty of volunteering opportunities available from being involved or
facilitating art and craft groups to helping out in ‘The Wardrobe’ to ensure all new
arrival Refugees and Asylum Seekers receive good quality clothing and toiletries.

For more information regarding volunteer opportunities at Oasis Cardiff please
contact us via email info@oasiscardiff.org

When we first come in contact with Refugees and Asylum Seekers many of them
literally have nothing with them apart from the clothes that they are wearing.

We set up ‘The Wardrobe’ where we can help restore some dignity with a quality outfit.

If you have any spare clothes or toiletries that are in good condition please do
consider donating them to us!

Please note, we are not currently taking any donations due to the large amounts we received after Christmas.

We also no longer take any baby donations.
To donate any baby clothing or equipment please get in touch with ‘Growbaby’

We are always grateful and sometimes overwhelmed by the amount our community are willing to help our clients by donating. However, due to lack of storage space we are sometimes unable to take all donations and like to regulate and prioritise what our clients want and more importantly need.

So please do give us a ring or an email before donating anything.

How to donate…

After contacting a member of staff about donating please ensure all donations are organised into labelled bags…

For example:
All Women’s Clothing Sizes 10 should be in one bag and labelled ‘Women’s Clothes Size 10‘.

We do not currently have any means of transport for collection so we can only accept donations that are dropped off to our centre.

Our centre is open to accept donations on Mondays – Thursdays 9:30am – 4pm and Fridays 9:30am – 3pm
